As a Proposer, you are responsible for the organisation and chairing of the Special Symposium and for selecting and inviting the Keynote Speaker. These prestigious Keynote Speaker slots should be occupied by senior researchers who are leaders in their field. Note: Symposium Chairs cannot be Invited Speakers in their own session.
All invited keynote speakers must submit an abstract via the Web-based submission portal (opening 1 May 2019) and register for the Congress to be included in the final schedule, but invited talks will be accepted without review. You, your Symposium Co-Chair and additional reviewer(s) will be asked to assess and score abstracts submitted to your session and after conferring with the Conference Executive Committee, to finalise the list of speakers and running order for your Special Symposium.
It should be noted that all speakers will be limited to a maximum of two podium presentations during the entire Congress, and you should inform any keynote speakers that, if they are invited to present more than two podium presentations, they need to decide which two to present.
