ICONIC PROPERTY OF THE MONTH:
747 Wing House

The Wing House was designed by renowned Los Angeles based architect David Hertz for his client Francie Rehwald, a Mercedes-Benz dealership heiress. The residence is made almost entirely out of the recycled parts of a 747 Boeing plane that had to be helicoptered in. The aluminum airplane wings make up the roof and ceiling, and while they might be most striking, more than 4.7 million other parts were repurposed for the house. T

he house was built on a 55-acre property, 5 miles up from Pacific Coast Highway, at the western edge of Malibu, California. To read more about the project, check out this article. The home is also available to rent starting at $1,000 a night with a 4-night minimum on Third Home Rentals.

Located in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, this 1,000 acre beach front property on the Sea of Cortez is a very special offering. Unlike most of Cabo, the beach is swimmable. It's super calm in the morning, allowing for ideal wake boarding conditions and the afternoons pick up just enough wind for kiteboarding and sailing. Venice's newest restaurant, located at 425 Rose Avenue just opened this month and it's affordable! I stopped by today for a second time with a client and tried the Beauty Burger, which is their impossible burger and I highly recommend it. The masterminds behind the idea are r

estaurateurs Paul Hibler and Jeff Goodman American Gonzo Food Corporation (Pitfire Pizza and Superba Food + Bread) and Bruce Horowitz (The Tasting Kitchen). The chef-driven casual burgers joint is a to-go spot with a few outdoor seats (no tables), offering options that range from a $3.95 cheeseburger ($5.95 for a double, or $7.95 for an Impossible Meat version) to a $7 grain bowl or salad and $2.50 It’s-It ice cream sandwich for dessert. It's simply delicious and worth giving a try.

P.S. Arts is dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing arts education to underserved public schools and communities. They are the only organization in Southern and Central California that provides high quality arts education in dance, music, theater, and visual arts to every child in a school during the regular school day and after-school.
