Summer is in Full Bloom!

Summer in Aspen is so special - long days and beautiful weather with a wide variety

of events and activities

to enjoy!

Sunday I biked up Castle Creek toward the ghost town of Ashcroft. The wildflowers are l

ike an overflowing bouquet full of brilliant red Indian Paint Brush, Queen Ann Lace in white, purple Wild Lupine, and many more. This inspired me and my husband to pack a picnic and take our ATV's up to Lenado

above the Woody Creek Tavern to 11,000 ft.

We are looking forward to a few lectures this week at the

Aspen Institute, plus some summer parties.

The options are endless! We are so lucky to live here!!!

July 20 celebrated the 50th anniversary of America’s successful moon launch with Buzz Aldrin (and other

Astronauts). What was one of the famous lines when they actually walked on the

Moon? “Location, Location, Location!”

We can relate that to the Aspen Real Estate Market.

Walk to town and sold prices push $2300 to $3,000 a sq ft for new or updated p

Go a little farther and prices start to drop - even for great properties.

One closing last week surprised me regarding location. A brand new home

located over a mile east of town closed for $14,400,000 which is $2,271.29/sf. It m

akes me wonder if a new home could be a comparable component to an e

asy walk to town.

Also, this is a great example of how staging with

our Compass Concierge w

orks in bigger dollar

closings faster!

There are a few left for summer but start thinking about your Christmas/New Year holiday

if you wish to rent.

Thank you for your confidence in my real estate knowledge. I am always looking for some new listings (Sellers) and buyers. Please continue to send your special friends and

family my way!
