FlightGlobal is reporting that Boeing is studying a GEnX-powered version of the 767 primarily for the cargo market, but also with a possible passenger version in mind. The GEnX currently powers the 787 and 747-8. A 767-X would provide Boeing with an alternative to a clean sheet New Mid-market Airplane design.
