A partnership between St. James UMC and Church of the Resurrection

ARJ Celebrates as 30 New Members Join Small Groups

Following the recent showing of the “True Justice” documentary and group discussions, 30 people signed up to join ARJ small groups. Small groups are one of our signature programs were congregants from St. James and COR come together in groups of 8-10 people.

They get to know one another through informal discussions around selected readings that highlight the issues of racial injustice. They share meals at restaurants or in member’s homes. They participate in services at each other’s churches and in activities throughout the community. They commit to learning, sharing and growing together as individuals and friends in Christ.
