Dear Sangha,

Hojin Sensei will be at the Temple this week, arriving on Tuesday to offer daisan, lead the Creative Impulse Intensive on Thursday through Saturday, and give Sunday's talk. Also this week, the Fire Lotus Knitting Group will meet on Sunday afternoon. Please see below for more information about upcoming programs.

Creative Impulse Intensive: This Thursday and Friday evening, 7-9pm, and all day Saturday, 10am-4pm, August 10-12, Hojin Sensei will offer a new intensive retreat on the creative impulse and the spontaneity of expressiveness. Beginning with zazen, participants will engage in nourishment and expression of our life force energy, exploring its natural impulse to leap into the unknown and take creative form. This intensive is designed for city dwellers who have daytime work commitments: you are welcome to participate in one, two, or all three sessions. Materials will be provided.

Needles Meeting in Mid-Air: This Sunday, August 13th, the Fire Lotus Knitting Group will meet from 1-3pm.
