Free Registry Membership Coupon

A coupon for FREE Registry membership and renewal is still available! This coupon is available through funding provided by the Department of Children and Families through the Preschool Development Grant (PDG). The coupon is available until funding is exhausted.

Foreign Transcript Evaluation
If you have foreign transcripts and need them evaluated when applying for Registry membership or membership renewal, be sure to apply for this grant. This grant will cover the entire cost of your foreign transcript evaluation from One Earth International Credential Evaluations.

Registry Credential Commissions Grant
The Wisconsin Registry received a grant that covered the complete cost for Registry Credential students to commission who were not already supported by a T.E.A.C.H. scholarship or other grant funding. Funding for this grant has come to an end and was provided by the Department of Children and Families through the Preschool Development Grant (PDG). We are happy to announce that 79 individuals used the grant to pay for their commission in April, May, and June this year!
FREE FOUNDATIONAL CHILDCARE TRAINING
Beginning June 1, 2022, the Department of Children and Families (DCF) is funding free Foundational Child Care Training. This exciting program will provide accessible and affordable training and support to new child care professionals to improve the workforce shortage in child care.
 
The Child Care Foundational Training courses cover the following non-credit trainings delivered in an interactive online, interactive correspondence, and in-person format:
  • Introduction to the Child Care Profession
  • Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care
  • Fundamentals of Family Child Care
  • Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher

FOR TRAINING GUIDE
Staff recently updated the "How to Search for Training Guide." This guide is for individuals looking for Registry approved training using the Wisconsin Registry Statewide Training Calendar and the Trainer Directory. The Wisconsin Registry Statewide Training Calendar is a digital bulletin board of upcoming training events provided by training sponsor organizations.
