Atlas Air pays tribute to the Queen of the Skies with a special flight path

Airbus, Qatar Airways settle their A350 dispute
Airbus and Qatar Airways reached a surprisingly quick settlement this week to their acrimonious dispute over surface degradation on the A350. Qatar has grounded dozens of A350s awaiting a permanent fix, while Airbus has maintained that it’s not a safety issue. Neither party admitted fault in the settlement that sees Qatar’s A350 and A321neo orders restored by Airbus while Qatar drops its compensation claims against Airbus.

Flyr files for bankruptcy
Norwegian low-cost airline Flyr has halted flights and filed for bankruptcy after failing to secure additional financing. The airline, which began operations in June of 2021, operated at a mix of 737-800 and 737-8 MAX aircraft to leisure destinations from Norway.
