Shalom Emma

Today I am taking the unprecedented step of writing to you on Simchat Torah in light of the terrible news coming out of Israel.

Since the early hours of yesterday morning, Magen David Adom has been on its highest possible alert level, with the response to the attacks under Operation Swords of Iron underway. All vehicles – ambulances, mobile intensive care units, medicycles, mass-casualty vehicles, bullet-proof ambulances and other specilised vehicles – are manned with teams prepared to respond.

Since the start of the Hamas infiltration into Israel (as of 5am Israel time 8 October)
3000 + rockets have been fired into Israel
300 + innocent Israeli’s have been brutally murdered
 1600 + injured
50+ known citizens kidnapped and taken into Gaza

The Blood Services are already operating emergency blood drives in order to provide supplies to all hospitals across the country. MDA remains the sole provider of blood to the IDF, and is responsible for over 96% of Israel’s blood supplies.

We implore you to help by offering your support by donating to our campaign which will purchase the essential supplies MDA requires to operate at full operational capacity 24/7. This comes at an additional cost of 1 million NIS per day.

All donations above $2 are tax deductible

Every cent of every dollar donated will be transferred to Israel immediately to ensure MDA ensure can safely treat & transport every injured civilian and continue to save lives.

HAMAS TERRORISTS PARADING WOMEN AND CHILDREN HOSTAGES.
Sitting on the back of a terrorist's motorcycle, her outstretched arms pointing towards her helpless boyfriend, student Noa Argamani pleads for her life.

She screams “Don’t kill me! No, no, no” – but the gunman speeds off. Noa hasn’t been seen since. Her boyfriend, Avi Nathan, distraught and helpless, is left behind in the desert.

He too is missing. Widely shared on social media, the footage of Noa’s kidnapping. “Imagine what it is like for her family,” said her university roommate, Amir Moadi. They found out she had been snatched only when they chanced upon the footage online.

Along with hundreds of other young Israelis, Noa and Avi had been enjoying a peace festival in the desert when they were forced to flee for their lives from Hamas terrorists.
