Spring, Sap, and… Mud Season!
Spring is on its way in Vermont, and that means two things—maple sugaring and mud season! Steam is rising from sugarhouses as sap boils down into sweet Vermont maple syrup, while our dirt roads turn to a familiar, muddy mess. Whether you're gathering sap, navigating frost heaves, or just enjoying the longer days, we're here to keep you connected.
A big thank you to everyone who participated in our customer survey last month—we appreciate your feedback! And don't forget to sign up for our March Mania contests for a chance to compete against your friends and neighbors and win great prizes from local businesses. This year, we're once again offering both men's and women's brackets, so be sure to register to play!
As the seasons shift, we're always working to improve your service—just like Vermont's road crews tackling those muddy backroads! Read on for the latest updates, helpful tips, and community news.
Happy sugaring (and safe driving!),

Team WCVT Lends a Hand in the Sugar Bush
In late February, a group of dedicated WCVT employees embarked on a day of community service at the Green Mountain Audubon Center in Huntington. Despite the lingering snow from earlier storms, the team loaded sleds with buckets and drills, and helped tap over 500 trees the old fashioned way.
As part of WCVT's unwavering commitment to community involvement, each employee is allocated 16 hours of paid community service annually. This dedicated time allows them to engage in local service projects that make a positive impact.
If your organization requires assistance, don't hesitate to contact Lorraine Keener at 802-496-8379 or lkeener@corp.wcvt.com. Together, we can explore opportunities for collaboration and mutual support.
