Lifeline, a federal program, reduces the monthly cost of phone or internet service. Eligible customers can receive up to $15.70 towards their bill.

You can only use Lifeline for phone or internet, not both. Each household can only receive one Lifeline Program discount, regardless of whether it’s wireless or wireline. To determine your eligibility, answer the following questions:

  • Was your household income in 2024 less than $21,127.51 for a single-person household or less than $28,552.50 for a two-person household? For each additional person in your household, add $7,425.00.
  • Did you receive Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, also known as Food Stamps), Medicaid, Veterans Pension and Survivors Pension, or Tribal Programs?
