As we settle into 2025, I want to take a moment to thank you for placing your trust in us as your local internet provider. We know how important a reliable connection is—whether for work, school, staying in touch with loved ones, or simply streaming your favorite shows on a cold Vermont evening.
Anticipation is building as we start our 2025 fiber builds. Despite the challenges winter weather presents, we have positioned ourselves to continue the momentum of converting our customers to fiber optic service throughout the season. At the same time, we are also actively engineering and designing our future fiber projects.

Is There a High School Senior in Your Family?
WCVT is proud to partner with the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) in the 2025 College Scholarship Program. Each year, the foundation awards scholarships to an outstanding group of rural students for their first year of college or vocational school. Since its inception, FRS has distributed over $1 million in scholarships, empowering rural students across the country to enhance their communities with essential skills and experiences. All applicants must be sponsored by a member company of NTCA — The Rural Broadband Association, which includes WCVT.
As your local telecommunications service provider, we are pleased to offer this national scholarship program in our service area. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors and either active customers or have parents or legal guardians who are active customers of WCVT and reside full-time in the WCVT service area.

Bolton Outdoor Adventure Fund Night Skiing Fundraiser – Thursday, February 13 – Bolton Valley Resort
Come out for an evening shred and support a worthy cause! On Thursday, February 13th, Bolton Valley Resort will donate 50% of the evening’s night skiing revenue to the Bolton Outdoor Adventure Fund (BOAF). BOAF raises scholarship funds to enhance youth access to outdoor recreation programs in Chittenden and Washington counties.
