With the regular season in the rearview mirror, the postseason begins in earnest tonight as the first round of the College Football Playoff kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET in Norman, Oklahoma, as the No. 9 Alabama Crimson Tide visits the No. 8 Oklahoma Sooners.

There will be four first-round games on Friday and Saturday, with two being broadcast on ABC and two airing on TNT.
