British Airways A350 loses a wheel departing Las Vegas
British Airways flight BA274 lifted off from Las Vegas earlier this week with all 12 main landing gear wheels, but as it retracted the gear the right rear wheel detached. Luckily, no one on the ground was injured and the flight continued to London for a safe landing.

UPS retires MD-11 fleet
UPS announced it will not return its MD-11 fleet to service. The operator made the decision in late 2025 and publicly confirmed it during its fourth quarter earnings presentation. The airline’s fleet of 26 MD-11s have been grounded since the November 4 crash of flight 2976 in Louisville.
