Drone-based laser weapon closes El Paso airspace
Early Wednesday morning, the FAA issued a NOTAM closing airspace around El Paso to all traffic below 18,000 feet. Scheduled to last 10 days, the closure caught everyone by surprise. Lifted after just a few hours, it turns out the NOTAM was related to the use of a drone-based laser weapon by a government agency without FAA coordination. Cuba runs out of fuel
