Let’s talk about the drones

ON THE ICE WITH GABRIEL LEIGH
|
It begins! Our epic Antarctica series is here!
We sent Gabe Leigh as far south as we possibly could and we begin in Cape Town as he boards an A340 for the flight to Wolf’s Fang Runway, the only privately-run airfield in Antarctica.
Over the next few videos we’ll be flying in the A340, Basler BT-67s (upgraded DC-3s), Twin Otters on skis, and we’ll see how they prepare the ice runway!
We also have this bonus video with a smooth as ice landing and a ground handler pushing a set of air stairs on skis.
